Queen Ant:  Many to hundreds of thousands of workers per colony and they like to have multiple sub colonies.
r
Reproductive Ant: Job is to mate and look for new nest sites. Swarming is usually done inside the nest.
r
Foraging Ant:
Job is to look for food, range widely from their nests.
r
Treatment: Chemicals should not be used. This will cause budding. Budding is when the nest gets too big so the primary queen will leave and establish a new nest. This is what so easily causes infestation in buildings. Treated with chemicals not only causes budding, but also causes panic and the colony will start reproducing as many queens as they feel they need.
